How to read keyword density
Paste your article, optionally enter a target phrase, and the tool counts how often it appears compared with total words. It also lists the most frequent words so you can see what the text emphasises.
There is no magic percentage. Search engines reward pages that cover a topic clearly and naturally; repeating a phrase on purpose reads badly and can look manipulative. Use the numbers as a sanity check: if one phrase makes up several percent of the text, or your main topic is missing from the list, revise by writing for the reader first.
Limits: the tool measures single words and exact matches in the text you paste. It does not use search data, rankings or competitor information, and it cannot predict how a page will perform.
